How to write a love letter

Sometimes the joyous love we possess
possesses us to write things we never knew how to explain
the emotions and feelings held deep within our souls
that were never truly experienced
but only briefly discovered

There is something about writing to your loved one
that brings out prose you never knew you could compose
the beauty of your lyrics could never swing
like they do when you write to her
nor could they ever be recreated.

Eloquence is sequestered
especially in a love letter
These words are but delicate burning flowers
only beheld,
never remembered

Your only hope is that she will read them with an open heart
and a pure conscience, so that she may understand
the true depths of your being and your true intent of devotion

Though your actions are not always true
your intentions must always be just.
This is the time to explain them to her,
she may gain a perspective
she never knew you were capable of

A woman adores poetry and admires the heart it takes
to compose such gracefulness
she may glimpse a side of you, she never knew existed
This is how you gain her trust

Be honest and open
true and unabridged

She will not appreciate lies of fluffy grammar
used to make her look like a fool if she is to fall for it
again
Instead make her feel what you feel
make her want what you want
two lovers' desires are more alike than you think.
So express yourself to her
the way you would when you were a child
to an older but beautiful girl
you swore you would one day marry

These are the emotions that will melt her soft heart
If you accomplish this correctly, she will be yours forever
and no man will ever mean to her
what you do
So tread carefully,
because your words of love are powerful things
and cannot be thrown around loosely
or they proscribe all validity
leaving your heart and the emotions they contain
hopelessly meaningless

A few last notes:
There is no limit on love
therefore no page limit on your letter
Avoid using generic and cliche phrasing
trust me, she's heard it all before
and always always
handwrite your prose
It says more about you than you could ever know
and she will always know that it was you and only you
that came up with this beautiful composition of
unequal expression

Until you find your love never practice this act,
it must be spontaneous and organic
like the first bloom of spring

I await the day with all my heart.
