Stuck in a rut

Stuck in a rut,
car won't start.
Feels like the world is against him.

Why does God punish those who try to be better?
Why does the world make things difficult for those who strive to achieve?

Because the Road to Glory isn't easily traversed.
If it were, no one would stand apart.

The truth is, life isn't easy,
and neither is the path to success.
The only difference is the will to win.

Those who attempt and fail,
are the everybody anybodies.
Some fail so illustriously
they gain fame.
But without the flame,
desire, the passion to win,
these failures are nothing more than roadkill.
Squashed along the highway of life.

When you're stuck in a rut,
all you can do is dig yourself out.
You can dig, and dig and dig,
and sometimes you just find yourself in a hole,
deeper than any rut you've been in your whole life.

But you can always dig yourself some steps and walk right out.
There is always a way to win. The will is what matters.
If you don't care to get out of this ditch,
then bury yourself in it,
because you're giving up on life itself.

If not, then find a way out.
People give up on themselves everyday,
Don't you want to be one who doesn't?

When life gets you down,
and you're stuck in a rut,
dig.
Dig deep within yourself, and walk the narrow path to victory.
